Profile
In the marketing team, I help with communicating the Birkett Long brand, our services and people within the firm. I work closely with all members of the marketing team and together we work on creating and planning communications, all types of literature, PR, events, digital communications and keeping the website updated.
I love working within marketing as every day is different. You get to work in so many mediums, with different types of people, and many departments and topics.
Working with people and building relationships is a great achievement in my role. Knowing we can work as a team and seek what teams are trying to accomplish, together creating marketing plans to achieve their objectives and make successes, makes it all worthwhile.
I have always wanted a creative role which incorporates deadlines and problem solving. Being in marketing gives me this and so much more.
Not being local to the area, I wanted to work where there was a good presence, where they work closely with local businesses and within the community, and where there is positive word of mouth with the local people and with people I know. For me Birkett Long ticks all the boxes.
I always surround myself with friends and family. I have three main hobbies; I love to travel, mainly around Europe, every place is so different and interesting that a weekend break is sometimes not enough! I love going to see bands/ artists live and where something interesting pops up, visiting art exhibitions.
