Company Director

As a director of a company, whether that company is used as a vehicle to run the family business or a larger company where there are many other directors, you have significant duties which are set out in the Companies Act 2006.  In addition, the day-to-day powers you have as a director are set out in the company’s Articles of Association.

There are serious consequences for directors who breach their statutory duties, as well as their duties under a company’s Articles of Association.

Our Commercial and Corporate Finance solicitors have significant experience in working with clients who are directors, by assisting them in complying with their duties, along with assisting with other matters such as preparing directors’ Service Agreements.
