This training is specifically for newly appointed employee representatives within any organisation. It may also be suitable for managers and other individuals, for example in HR, who are involved in meetings or matters where employee representatives may be called upon by colleagues to assist and support them.

What is involved?

  • lasts for no more than 6 hours
  • is interactive, using discussion and case studies to aid effective learning and retention
  • can be delivered in person or virtually
  • is customised to:
    • your organisation’s policies and procedures
    • any specific roles of the employee representatives

The objective of the training is to provide newly appointed employee representatives with an understanding of their role, basic knowledge of legal issues that might arise in various situations they may provide support in and practical dos and don’ts so that they are confident in and can provide effective representation to their work colleagues.
