Leah Woodlee
Associate, Chartered Legal Executive
Profile
I am a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in the Wills, Trusts and Probate team.
My specialist areas are Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorneys, Trusts, Probate administration, tax planning, and care-related matters.
I joined Birkett Long in August 2014 and moved into Colchester’s Wills, Trust and Probate team in 2018.
I enjoy the variety of work within my role, as it means that every day is different. The mixed workload means that often I see families at various stages of their life, whether they are just starting their own family and I am putting in place Wills for them or helping clients in their more advancing years. I pride myself on providing my clients with clear and friendly advice in order to help my clients achieve their desired outcome.
In a lot of cases, my clients have gone through a difficult period of time in their lives, whether it be losing a loved one, a family member losing capacity, or needing assistance with care-related matters and I get a real sense of satisfaction that I am helping my clients in their time of need and aim to take the burden off my clients where I can.
I am a Dementia Friend and spend most of my free time with my family, friends, and my house rabbit Pecan!
