In addition to handling substantial contract, company and shareholder disputes, I act for insolvency practitioners as well as in connection with contentious recovery actions – typically involving misfeasance/breach of duty, wrongful trading, transactions at an undervalue, preferences and unlawful dividends. 

I advise companies and directors as well as debtors/bankrupt and their spouses/partners in relation to a wide variety of corporate and personal insolvency-related issues. 

I have a particular interest in the defence of proceedings brought under the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986.

I am a mentor to several colleagues. I have successfully passed the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency examination and I am an Associate member of R3 (the Association of Business Recovery Professionals).

In my spare time, I help fundraise for a local hospice as well as volunteering at running events. I produce, present and buy a lot of music (particularly electronic). I regularly play football, enjoy running as well as cycling and I am a keen skier having lived and worked in the French Alps before qualifying.
