Circumstances where the question of suspension arises are often as a result of a serious incident and a prompt decision is required.

Suspension will only be appropriate in certain situations and there can be serious consequences of making the wrong decision, such as legal action.

Our employment law expert Karen provided guidance on:

  • When to use suspension: An overview of factors to consider and what situations may result in suspension.
  • How to suspend: Understand what is involved in the process and how to correctly suspend.
