Rianna Billington Purvis

I am a Solicitor in the Employment and BLHR team.

My third seat in my training contract was in the BLHR and Employment team. My first and second seats were in the Dispute Resolution team and Wills, Trusts and Probate team.

I have always been interested in pursuing a career in law as I wanted to do work that makes a difference to someone. I believe that it is a huge privilege to be able to help an individual or company navigate and resolve any issues that they may be facing.

I knew employment was the area of law for me because it has a mixture of both contentious and non-contentious elements and I enjoy both. Each case that I have had the privilege of working has involved a unique set of facts meaning no two days are the same, nor are the solutions and often creative legal analysis is required in order to achieve results for our clients which I find very interesting.

In my spare time, I really enjoy eating out and yoga – which is a good combination as the two balance each other out! I am also an animal lover and have ridden horses since I was 10 years old.
