About the deal
Perdeep Grewal of Birkett Long was instructed by MM Building Contractors Limited to recover £25,963.73 from an employer. MM Building Contractors were appointed to re-develop a property in Ealing. The employer failed to serve a payment notice or a pay less notice on time. This meant the sums in our client’s application for payment were the notified sums due.
In order to avoid commencing adjudication proceedings, Perdeep successfully negotiated with the employer and obtained payment of £14,000.
