The training covers the essential aspects of equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
This also covers the legal framework and the implications of getting things wrong, rounding up practical tips that will have been discussed during the session to handle issues that arise and to promote equality, diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
Examples are provided throughout and attendees are encouraged to discuss them.
This training can be tailored to any mix of attendee: managers, supervisors and team leaders; non-management or leader level or a mix.
The objective of the training is to ensure all attendees of any level are aware of how important EDI is in the workplace, their role and that they are confident to address issues that might arise for themselves or on behalf of others, whether that is informally, formally, directly or indirectly.
The training also emphasising the importance of taking action promptly.
